Australia Post

The cost of postage sent through Australia Post is based on the size, weight and sometimes location of where you are sending from. You can use your own packaging, flat rate eBay branded Australia Post packaging or the Australia Post range of packaging.

You can save time and money on the price of regular Australia Post shipping by printing your postage label at home from your My eBay account. Once printed, stick the label to your package and drop it in a post box.

Calculate your postage

Printing your postage label through your My eBay account will automatically upload tracking information for you and your buyer. For valuable items, consider  optional features like signature on delivery and extra cover*

Drop-Off

--Single Image Content Start--

If you don’t want to wait for a courier at home, there are plenty of services (see list below) that allow you to simply drop the item off, much like Australia Post.

If you regularly ship items, you might want to consider using a provider that links to your eBay account. This way you can easily manage your eBay sales. Most providers include a calculator on their website with 'real time' price quotes so you know how much you will be charged when you drop it off.

Always ship with tracking and share the tracking status with your buyer. If you are shipping a high value item, ask for in-store warranties.

Recommended providers: MailMan, Pack & Send, Hubbed

Local Pickup

--Dynamic Image With Text Content Start--
If you prefer not to send an item by post, perhaps it’s fragile, bulky or heavy, you can offer local pick up.

Choose ‘No postage: local pickup only’ when you're listing your item. Keep in mind that only offering local pickup can deter buyers who do not live near you.

Ensure that your item was purchased by the buyer on eBay so you are protected by our Seller Protection Policy.
