What you Need to Know
You only get one shot at a first impression, and listings with a clean white background have the potential to convert better. Our new Image Clean-Up tool on the eBay App uses computer vision technology to clean listing images and help them stand out in search. Having clean images improves your listing visibility and increases your chance of exposure on eBay. They also optimise listings for Google Shopping, and improve the shopping experience for buyers by making search look more streamlined.
How Does it Work?
When you take or upload your photos within the eBay listing flow on your Android or iOS device, you can use the background removal tool to remove the background for any of your photos. You can easily touch up any missing areas or use the photo as is.
You can also use this feature to edit photos on your existing listings through the app. Use the paintbrush or eraser icons to undo your edits or remove more of the image background.
