What is Parts Compatibility?

--Video Content Start--

Parts compatibility, or fitment, allows sellers in most Vehicle Parts & Accessories categories to show all the vehicles that are compatible with their part or accessory. This can increase the visibility of your listings in search results and can help reduce the number of listings you need to manage. You can choose up to 1,000 compatible vehicles per listing from a master vehicle list (MVL) which includes more than 40,000 vehicle models.

If you can’t find a vehicle on the MVL you might be able to request it by submitting a MVL Missing Vehicle Request.

When you assign compatible vehicles to your listing, it is easier for buyers to find the parts they're looking for and they can buy with confidence knowing that they're buying a part that fits their model.

Which Vehicles are Available for Parts Compatibility?

--Paragraph Start--

Download the latest version of the master vehicle list (MVL) to find out which vehicles are available for parts compatibility. This can help you to compare the information you have about your item with the data used by eBay.

You can use the MVL with file exchange to add fitment data to your listings in bulk.

Tip

Once you've added compatibility information to your listing, you don't need to repeat it in your listing title. This information will already be displayed to buyers in the compatibility section of the listing and used in search results.
